STEDigital 123HD Failed To Play

STEDigital 123HD MP4 Player

Tiga bulan yang lalu, rekan kerja saya membeli 2 MP4 Player. Satu untuk saya dan yang lain untuk yang lain. Entah karena bakat saya atau kenapa, MP4 Player baru berumur 1 (satu) bulan selalu nge-hang saat memainkan musik. Yang parahnya lagi, setelah nge-hang harus disambungkan ke PC baru bisa nyala kembali, tapi ujung-ujungnya tetep nge-hang.

Satu bulan berlalu, saat laptop-ku ikut2 ngehang klo terlalu banyak jalankan program, rasa penasaran dengan MP4 datang lagi. Coba kunjungi situs-nya, baca2, ngisi contact dan akhirnya saya explorer CD Drivernya, ketemu software buat upgrade firmware & format, setelah dicoba …. yata …. MP4 kembali seperti semula, senangnya …. Yang tak kalah menyenangkan, setelah mengisi contact us saya mendapat respon yang cepat, meski masalah sudah terpecahkan, tapi saya tambah senang dengan pelayanan yang diberikan. Terima Kasih.

Saya coba simpulkan dari pengalaman saya saat ini :

Kalau masih ada garansi segera komplain ke toko tempat membeli (tapi saya pernah dapat pengalaman buruk dan baik dengan yang namanya garansi, yang buruk ada disini dan disini, yang baik sepertinya saya lupa menulis )
Baca kembali Buku Manual / CD Manual / CD Driver mungkin dari situ kamu bisa menemukan secercah harapan
Googling atau kunjungi situs resminya, mungkin ada yang sudah atau sedang mengalami masalah yang sama

Ada yang punya pengalaman / saran lainnya ???

Pengalaman Bersama StopBadware

Dah tau yang namanya StopBadware kan ? StopBadware merupakan organisasi non-profit yang bergerak untuk memerangi malicious software atau badware. Mungkin anda pernah searching di google dan mendapati link dengan tulisan This site may harm your computer atau Situs ini mungkin berbahaya untuk komputer anda, nah itu merupakan hasil kerja StopBadware untuk melindungi komputer anda.

Saya yang kebetulan diberi tanggung jawab menangani web kantor, pada waktu itu karena satu dan lain hal jarang cek dan update web kantor, termasuk blog ini

Dan hasilnya, blog kantor masuk dalam list StopBadware. Saya bingung tidak tahu apa yang harus dilakukan. Panik karena atasan mulai teriak2. Pufh …

Pertanyaan pertama, Dimanakah Si Badware berada ?

Namanya juga pengalaman pertama, saya benar2 dibuat dibingung. Buka situsnya StopBadware juga tidak cukup membantu *males baca, pengennya yang praktis*. Tapi ternyata solusinya sudah tersedia, apabila anda mendaftarkan situs anda menggunakan google webmaster, disitu dituliskan link-link yang bermasalah.

Pertanyaan kedua, Bagaimana mendeteksi Badware dan apa yang harus dilakukan ?

Sebenarnya cara mudahnya adalah langsung menghapus link-link yang bermasalah yang dituliskan di Google Webmaster. Hanya saja saya bingung, kq antivirus saya tidak mendeteksi badware. Jadi awalnya saya menggunakan AVG, kemudian hijrah ke Avira dan Avast lah yang berhasil mendeteksi Si Badware. Entah karena antivirus sebelumnya blm terupdate atau apa, yang jelas Avast penyelamat saya. Dengan Avast saya mendapatkan peringatan setiap kali mengakses link-link bermasalah itu. Saya ambil kesimpulan, bukan hanya virus definition saja yg perlu up to date, engine-nya juga butuh kali ya

Link sudah dihapus, peringatan tetap ada. Apa yang harus dilakukan ?

Setelah anda menghapus link-link yang bermasalah, akan lebih baik jika anda memperbaiki hosting anda. Jika anda pengguna wordpress atau joomla dan CMS lainnya, semua dapat berjalan lebih mudah. Apabila anda membuat sendiri situs anda. Anda mungkin harus memperbaiki kode-kode situs anda. Yang saya lakukan mungkin sedikit extreme. Yang saya lakukan adalah menghapus domain dari situs yang bermasalah (hanya situs bukan database), jika ada file-file penting di domain tersebut lakukan backup terlebih dahulu. Kemudian download dan install CMS versi terbaru. Last, mengisi request for review form. Sisanya tinggal menunggu hasil review StopBadware

100 Java Mobile Games + Assassin Creed

Sedang jalan-jalan di forum sebelah nemu game-game java. Jadi teringat iklan-iklan Mobile Content Application yang semakin menjamur di Indonesia, mulai dari yang berbau horor, magis, ramal, jodoh, asmara, seleb dan game. Yang sempat membuat saya tersenyum, iklan aplikasi chating yang meminta user untuk registrasi lalu dapat download aplikasi chattingnya, padahal ada yang gratisan seperti yang ini. Dan setelah jalan-jalan di forum senyum saya semakin lebar karena deretan game java dibawah dan Game Assassin Creed yang iklannya mulai membuat saya semakin cepat memindahkan channel tv.
